President

Mr. Shake has nearly thirty years experience in the manufacture and distribution of children's and adult's recreational equipment. He has been President of VP Sports, Inc., a leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of bicycles, since August 1999. From 1974 to 1996, Mr. Shake held senior management positions, including President and Chief Operating Officer, of RDM Sports Group, its predecessor Roadmaster Industries, and their operating subsidiary, Roadmaster Corporation. During his tenure at Roadmaster, Mr. Shake helped build the company into one of America's leading manufacturers and distributors of bicycles, children's ride-on toys, fitness equipment and various other recreational products with total sales in excess of $700 million. Mr. Shake was instrumental in engineering the sale of Roadmaster's bicycle division to Brunswick Corp. in late 1996 where he became a senior executive in the bicycle division prior to joining VP Sports. Mr. Shake is also a director of the Olney Trust Bank of Olney, Illinois. Mr. Shake holds a B.S. degree from David Lipscomb University, B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from the University of Tennessee and an A.M.P. degree from Harvard University.
